Lineup revealed for free WAWW Bellatrix 4 show

It’s not often that you can check out a women’s wrestling show for the price of zero, but that is what is taking place in Norwich, England tomorrow for the World Association Of Women’s Wrestling‘s Bellatrix 4 event. It is an opportunity for fans to check out the WAWW product, its wrestlers – many of whom are home-grown – and the promotion’s new setup, which is a purpose-built TV studio.

The whole show is to be conducted in a Survivor Series-esque format, with two teams captained by RQW European Women’s Champion Queen Maya and WAWW British Ladies Champion Rhia O’Reilly facing off in singles matches, with points being awarded for victories, and a 10-woman tag team match also booked to take place.

Three of the singles encounters have been announced by WAWW, with Maya taking on Liberty in a non-title match; O’Reilly facing Erin Angel in another bout which is non-title, and Penelope wrestling Miss Mina.

Both titleholders have enjoyed ring time across the Atlantic since Bellatrix 3 in September. Maya made her US debut in October as part of the inaugural Bombshell Ladies Of Wrestling event, where she was defeated by Sumie Sakai, while O’Reilly made her debut at SHINE Wrestling‘s SHINE 4 event, and continued her rise up the ranks in SHIMMER, including helping Sweet Saraya retain the SHIMMER Championship against Cheerleader Melissa in the main event of volume 52.

Liberty, meanwhile, is looking to get some traction under her after losing the British Championship to O’Reilly at Bellatrix 3 – while Angel is rapidly becoming a big element of promotions around the country, and enjoyed a big win at ICW: Fierce Females in September over Sara-Marie Taylor.

Penelope has improved dramatically in the past year, defeating Skarlett in Bellatrix 3’s Queen Of The Ring tournament before falling to Saraya in the semi-final, as well as having a great outing with Destiny at Bellatrix 2. Norway’s Mina has had her ups and downs – she lost to Lady Lory in the first round of the QOTR tourney, but beat O’Reilly at Bellatrix 2. However, a match between the pair is set to be very promising.

Other names set to compete on the show are the aforementioned Extreme World Wrestling Women’s Champion Skarlett, who emerged victorious in the main event of her home promotion’s last show; rookie Chanel, who is looking to find her feet in WAWW; Violet O’Hara, who fought her tail off in her defeat to Saraya at Bellatrix 3; and the reigning Queen Of The Ring Destiny, who has really found her way again in the last year, and has put together a run of strong matches recently.

If you’re tempted to check out the stars of WAWW without having to reach into your pocket for the price of admission, click here to find out more, including the start time and address of the show. However, it may be worth bringing some cash along, as there is bound to be merchandise available, including the previous Bellatrix shows, so you can catch up on what has been going down.
