Christina Von Eerie & Kimber Lee debut at NCW Femmes Fatales XII

Femmes Fatales XII posterAnnouncements building up the card for NCW Femmes Fatales XII on July 6 are starting to trickle out, with two women set to make their debuts in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and another match set to take place featuring four women who were meant to clash back in March…

The first new face to debut is Christina Von Eerie, who is on the crest of a wave at the moment. As well as pinning former SHIMMER Champion Saraya Knight during a six woman tag as part of volume 57 last month, the mohawk-sporting punk will also squeeze in a trip to Japan before beating to Montreal, with her set to challenge Kairi Hojo & Natsumi Showzuki for the Goddesses of Stardom Tag Team Championship at Stardom’s June 2 show in Tokyo, Japan alongside former doubles champ Kyoko Kimura. On July 6, she will face rising star Angie Skye, who has been impressing on Femmes Fatales shows, and also caught the attention of a lot of fans as part of her SPARKLE matches before the most recent SHIMMER tapings.

Also announced to make her first appearance in Quebec will be Kimber Lee, who – like Von Eerie and Skye – is on a roll at the moment. As well as debuting in SHIMMER on the volume 53 iPPV, she followed that up with some great showings in Berwyn, IL the following week for the DVD tapings, falling to Athena and Evie but getting a win over Shazza McKenzie. She has also solidified her standing by reaching the finals of Women Superstars Uncensored Queen and King of the Ring tournament, and as also tussled with Saturyne at Wrestling Is Fun. Lee’s match has not been announced yet, but we’re promised it will be revealed soon.

Elsewhere, another match has been made public to go along with Von Eerie v Skye and Mercedes Martinez defending the Femmes Fatales International Championship against Sweet Cherrie, and it’s one which should look familiar, as it was meant to happen at Femmes Fatales XI and stems back to the double taping at Femmes Fatales X.

Leah Von Dutch Xandra Bale Midianne Deziree Bettie RageDeziree and Midianne formed a unit on the first taping when the latter refused to tag in to save her partner Missy, who then fell victim to Deziree and She Nay Nay. Seeking revenge, Missy recruited Leah Von Dutch and Xandra Bale to take on the trio who screwed her over, with the babyfaces coming out on top when Von Dutch pinned Midianne following the Flying Dutchman. However, hostilities lingered, and a tag match with Bale and Von Dutch taking on Deziree and Midianne was due to take place on March 30, though the contest was scrapped when Deziree suffered a hand injury and Von Dutch was unable to make the booking. As a result, Bale and Midianne faced each other in singles competition with the heel getting the win due to Midianne and Deziree’s new bodyguard Bettie Rage, who did the damage to the Ontarian.

On July 6, the foursome will battle again – though Rage is the new element which wasn’t there when the match was originally announced. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top considering the heels have the advantage in numbers, and possibly also in tag team synergy. They have been functioning together, while Bale and Von Dutch have been apart due in part to Leah spending the last month in Europe. That time may have seen her pick up new experiences and skills, but can she make them gel with partner Xandra? We’ll find out in six weeks.

In addition, you’ll see that LuFisto is on the main poster, indicating that she will be on the show in some capacity. In the most recent Women Of Wrestling Podcast, the Super Hardcore Anime is planning to return from surgery for her exploded kneecap which she suffered at SHIMMER Volume 53 at Femmes Fatales XII. It looks as if that will become a reality.
