Fierce Females: Return of the Queen of Hardcore – Live Results

Sammii Jayne vs Kay Lee Ray

Glasgow’s Fierce Females promotion returned to action in April with a new focus. Separating themselves from the main ICW brand, Fierce Females planned to run more often than they have before, with smaller regular shows at the Source Wrestling School in the city, leading to bigger club-style events. You can actually watch the entire show from April’s Source Wrestling School event on YouTube (we’ve helpfully brought them all together for you here), where we had the crowning of a new #1 contender to the Scottish Women’s Wrestling Championship in Sammii Jayne – and now, tonight, at the same venue, we have the return of the champion. The return of the Queen of Hardcore – Kay Lee Ray!

There is a full supporting card, featuring the return also of Nikki Storm as part of another mini contendership tournament (possibly to determine a challenger for the upcoming “Mad Maxine” event on the 20th of next month?) along with Bête Noire, Debbie Sharpe & Courtney. Viper takes on tech supremo Fiona Fraser, and the Glamour Gym of Carmel & Sara take on Leah Owens and, with her twin Leah still on the disabled list, a mystery partner.

Hat tip for results: Ben Ward & Martin Alexander

1. #1 Contender Tournament Semi Final: Nikki Storm pinned Bête Noire.

6. Scottish Women’s Championship: Kay Lee Ray (c) pinned Sammii Jayne to successfully retain her title.
— Described as a “Fantastic match” and received “This is awesome” chants. During the match, Kay Lee Ray jumped off a parked car outside the venue with a cross body.
