In Video: The crowning of the first Conflict Wrestling Women’s Champion

Skylar Rose Seleziya Sparx Jewells MaloneIf you’re a women’s wrestling fan and you live around the Canadian province of Ontario, you’re spoiled for choice. With promotions like SMASH Wrestling, Pure Wrestling Association and Acclaim Pro Wrestling all showcasing female action in a positive light, there’s plenty of places for women to get bookings and vie for championships – and another promotion introduced its own Women’s Championship back in June.

Conflict Wrestling – which started running cards a year ago – has featured exhibition matches to raise interest and support for a women’s division before announcing that it would crown it’s first female titleholder on its Lipstick and Dynamite show on June 14. Five women were meant to be in the running for the title but Kaitlin Diemond could not compete, meaning that Seleziya Sparx, the “Hardcore Princess” Jewells Malone, Skylar Rose and “Girl Dynamite” Jennifer Blake would compete in a four-way elimination contest to crown a Women’s Champion.

You can see the match below – and if you want to know more about two of the competitors in the match, you can do so, as we have conducted My Name Is interviews with both Sparx and Malone in the past.
